Something to Think About...(Halloween Edition)

The original Jack-o-Lanterns were made of hollowed out turnips...?

I know...It just doesn't feel the same without a pumpkin (or smell)!

The Irish introduced the concept of a Jack-o-Lantern for their little tale involving a man named Stingy Jack who bargained with the Devil to leave him alone.  When he died he wasn't permitted into heaven and the Devil didn't want him either.  He wanders the world endlessly.  On a weird note...The devil gifted him with an ember to be with him in his travels.

Thank goodness we changed to Pumpkins.
I'm not a fan of the turnip!
